SellerSouk

Trust & Safety

How we verify sellers, handle disputes, and keep transactions on the record.

SellerSouk is a platform connecting independent buyers and sellers.

We verify who you're transacting with and give both sides a structured way to resolve problems — we don't inspect assets ourselves, and (in this Phase 1 of the platform) we don't currently handle shipping or delivery. See our full Terms of Service for the complete picture.

1. Email verification

Every account confirms its email address before it can buy, sell, or accept offers. This is the baseline check that an account belongs to a real, reachable person at the organization signing up.

2. KYB (trade license) verification

Sellers can submit their organization's trade license number for KYB (Know Your Business) review. Our team checks it manually and marks the account Verified, Rejected, or leaves it Pending while under review. Verified sellers carry a visible badge on every listing and on their public seller profile. KYB review doesn't block using the platform — you can list and buy while pending — but it's a clear, visible signal buyers can use to decide who to transact with.

3. Trust score

Alongside KYB status, every organization carries a trust score out of 100, visible on verified sellers' listings and profiles. It's reviewed by our team and reflects verification status and account standing — it is a signal to weigh alongside KYB status and review history, not an independent machine-computed guarantee.

4. Reviews

After a sale completes, the buyer can leave a 1–5 star review with an optional comment, visible on the seller's public profile. One review per completed transaction; reviews can't be edited or removed after submission, so a seller's review history reflects real completed transactions.

5. On-platform communication

Buyers and sellers coordinate details — condition questions, pickup logistics, cross-border compliance — through our on-platform Questions & Answers tool. Keeping this on-platform, rather than over phone or WhatsApp, means there's a record both sides (and our team, if a dispute is opened) can refer back to.

6. Disputes

Either party can open a dispute within 14 days of a sale completing. Both sides submit evidence and messages through the platform; our team reviews the case and issues a decision — a full refund, partial refund, or denial. Because SellerSouk does not currently arrange or confirm delivery, disputes about non-delivery are decided on the evidence and on-platform communication both parties provided, not on any delivery confirmation from us. Full detail in section 8 of our Terms of Service.

7. Payments

Buyer payments are processed by Stripe and settle to the seller's connected payout account, minus our flat 10% success fee plus 5% VAT on that fee. We never mark up Stripe's processing charges or add a second commission. See how fees work on our Help & FAQ page.
